CashCrate Caution - Internet Safety

In order to earn money with CashCrate, certain personal information must be shared in order to receive credit for the offers.  Name, Date, and Address are OK to share, but more sensitive information MUST be kept secret.

CashCrate Caution Internet Safety
Information such as your cell phone, social security number, and credit card numbers should only and I mean ONLY be given out to 100% safe companies.

Identity theft is and has always been a concern.  There are bad people out there in the world that have no problem ripping off others and taking their money.  In order to prevent a possible scam, I would recommend the following when filling out offers with CashCrate:

Never give you SSN:  Some offers, especially the credit check ones, need your SSN in order to check your credit history.  Then once your credit has been checked by the company, you will receive your $4.00 from CashCrate.

Sounds like an easy $4.00 right?  $4.00 is not worth possible identity theft!  Your SSN is your life my friends, it must be kept secret and not tossed around, especially on the Internet!

Never give out your credit card info:  Once a company has your debit or credit card info, God only knows what they can do with it.  Hackers can gain access to this information and use it at their disposal.  This is why I suggest only doing the 100% free offers with CashCrate.  There is no chance of losing money, only gaining it!  ; P

Use Caution when giving your Cell Phone Number:  When I first started using CashCrate, I gave my cell phone number out to some companies that were shady.  I was new, and didn't have anyone to warn me about any possible consequences.  I started getting these text that said things like, "thank you for joining our quiz game, blablabla..." Big mistake.  I  started getting cell phone charges from CashCrate offers that ended up costing me $19.00 worth of extra charges on my cell phone bill.  I couldn't dispute or take them off because I couldn't find the company that originated the text.

Be careful people, don't let yourself be scammed.  It's not CashCrates fault, only your own.  Keep your most personal information safe.

Clearing Internet Cookies for CashCrate Offer Approval

Clear Internet Cookies with CashCrateA cookie is a piece of text that a Web server can store on a user's hard disk. Cookies allow a Web site to store information on a user's machine and later retrieve it.

What does an Internet cookie have to do with CashCrate?

When you visit these marketing companies web pages through offers on CashCrate, they place a cookie in your computer.  That cookie is used to store information like whether or not you have visited that site before or not.

This can be a problem when you are filling out offers with CrateCrate because many of the same companies offer dozens of offers which are hosted on the same server. If you complete one survey and begin another on the same server without clearing your Internet cookies, sometimes they will get lumped together and you’ll only receive payment for one of the two.

Clear Internet Cookies between every offer completed with CashCrate.  This will lower the chances of your offers ending up on the pending list of doom!

How to Clear Internet Cookies:
  1. Click on My Computer
  2. Click on Control Panel
  3. Click on Internet Options
  4. Click Delete under Browsing History
  5. Make sure the Internet Cookies box is checked
  6. Hit Delete
If you want to, you can download a computer cleaner program to do it for you, but it will cost you bout $30.00 bucks.  Not worth it if you ask me.

100% Free Offers with CashCrate - Spot the Easy Ones

CashCrate Hints and TipsCashCrate offers a few ways to earn money.  The safest and easiest way is by completing 100% free cash offers.

When you sign up with CashCrate, you will have tons of 100% free cash offers available to you.  Not all of the 100% free cash offers are the same.  They vary in payout, newness, difficulty, length, and requirement.

Many new members find themselves with a page full of pending offers that will never confirm because they have not done them correctly.  Personally I ran into this same problem and ended up wasting a lot of time and energy.

I'm going to tell you the hints and tips to completing 100% free cash offers successfully.

Remember, I've said it once, and I'll say it again.  Time is money!  There are some offers that ask you to "Complete a survey, fill out two offers, do this, do that, blahblahblah"

Don't do those offers please.  They will be a waste of time and you will probably fill them out incorrectly and not get paid.  Been there, Done that!

The offers that are the easiest to complete with guaranteed payout are the only offers you want to attempt at first.  These specific type of offers are easy to spot.  Look for the following clues:
  • Survey Companies or Research Companies - these will be approved as soon as you confirm your email address.
  • College Recruitment - these are simple and pay out fast. They may call your house; just tell them to take you off of their list.
  • Car Insurance Quotes - high payouts, and easy to complete.
  • Dating Sites - Take a bit longer to fill out, but always confirm.
  • Prescription Drug Offers or Medical related Offers- high payouts, easy to complete, always confirm.
  • Join a Club - club offers are easy to complete and payout when you click on the confirmation email.  Club memberships must be canceled within a given number of days in order to avoid a bill.
  • Samples - any offer that wants to give you a free sample of a product will always pay out.
  • Any other offer that says "Register with Valid Information and Confirm Email Address."
  • Coupons - offers that ask you to give your information and then print out a coupon.
Offers that have the above elements are the easiest to complete and most always pay out.

NOTE:

These type of offers generally send out confirmation emails for approval.  It is essential to confirm those emails to get paid for your efforts.

Always use Valid information when filling out offers.

G-mail Use with CashCrate

Gmail Use with CashCrateIn order to make money with CashCrate, you must give companies your email address.  These marketing companies are ONLY paying for unique email addresses.  One marketing company will run several different offers with different names.

If you have done an offer with company "ABC" already, and you click on a different offer through the same "ABC" company and give them the same email address as the first offer, you will not get paid for the second offer.  Why is that exactly you ask?  Because the "ABC" marketing company ALREADY got your email address from the first offer you completed.

How to avoid this?    Use different email addresses

These companies will flood your inbox with junk mail as well as confirmation letters.  Using different email addresses will keep your primary email address safe and free of spam.  I would suggest signing up with a free Gmail account.  Here's why...

Gmail will allow you to manipulate your email address but still receive mail.

Let me explain with an example:

The email address ilovemoney@gmail.com can be used with an offer.

Then it can be manipulated like this...
i.love.money@gmail.com

Adding periods between the letters of the email address will register as a completely different unique address with a company, but will still go back to the same account.

i.l.o.v.e.m.o.n.e.y@gmail.com can be used as well!

Any variation of an orignal Gmail account will be viewed as a totally different email address by the paying company.  This cool feature can take 4 Gmail accounts and turn them into 400!
