Help for CashCrate Offer QuestionsI signed up for CashCrate without a referral, so I didn't have anyone to help me directly with my questions and concerns.  I had to dig around the forums and online to find answers to my questions.  I learned most of my CashCrate technique through trial and error.

Trial and error is fine, but it's also exhausting, frustrating, and demoralizing.  I wanted to give up on CashCrate after 90% of my offers ended up not approving.  I desperately wanted someone to take my hand and lead me through it all, but that sort of help wasn't available.

BUT NOW THERE IS PERSONAL CASHCRATE HELP

This blog was started specifically for CashCrate beginners.  I want to help anyone I can successfully earn money with CashCrate, without the frustration of trial and error.

You can also check out my approved CashCrate offers list as an exact reference to easily approving offers.  These offers were completed by me and approved successfully.

Easy Ways to Earn Money with CashCrate

There are two new things you can do on CashCrate that will bring in Easy Money.
And when I mean easy, I mean EASY!
Easy Money with CashCrate
CashCrate is now paying members 3 cents everyday to simply Check In.  "Check In" is easy.  Once you sign in, you will see the green check in button on the right hand side of CashCrate's Dashboard.

When you click "Check In" you will be shown a featured Offer to complete at your discretion and credited your 3 cents immediately.

Earnings from "Check In" are deposited under Bonuses on your "My Earnings" page.

The second easiest way to earn money with CashCrate is by watching Videos.  To watch Videos, click on the purple Videos tab on the dashboard.  Once clicked you will be given a super short 3 question survey.  After submitting your survey, you will be given a list of available videos.

The payout ranges from 2-4 cents per video.  They are very short and a guaranteed way to earn money.  New videos are available to watch daily, so be sure to take advantage of this easy money making opportunity.

Pay attention to the video, because CashCrate will flash two numbers either along the top/bottom or left/right of the video to make sure you are watching.  After the video is over, you will be asked to type in the two numbers shown.  If you type in those numbers correctly, you will receive your credit!

If you type in the wrong numbers, you will not be able to watch the video again.
I usually keep a pen and pad next to me and write the numbers down as I see them.  This helps me keep track of the numbers in cash I get distracted.

The numbers that flash across the screen are completely random, so don't waste your time trying to find a pattern; it doesn't exist.  Earnings from watching videos are also found under Bonuses on the "My Earnings" page.

Confusing CashCrate Offers - Silver Gold & Platinum

Many CashCrate offers can be a tangled web of confusing requirements, pop-ups, and redirects. Directions are often vague or misleading.  One such type of offer is the "Silver, Gold, & Platinum" offer.
Confusing CashCrate Offers
If you have experimented with a few offers in CashCrate, then you have undoubtedly come across the offers requiring you to sign up for two silver, two gold, and two platinum offers in order to receive your prize reward.

Beware!  These silver, gold, and platinum offers all require credit cards, shipping and handling fees, and service charges.  They are NOT free.  These marketing companies are trying to confuse you and ultimately take advantage of you.  These types of offers are not easy to figure out.  They will make you jump through hoops for your CashCrate offer credit.

We all know CashCrate offers MUST be filled out correctly and all requirements met in order for you to receive your offer payment.  But, with confusing offers like these, cash approval seems completely impossible.

Truth is, they don't want you to complete the offer correctly because then, they would have to pay you. They have made these offers difficult on purpose.

More Truth, the "Get a Free I-pad with Participation" or any such similar claims are total and complete bull.  Use common sense people, they are trying to sucker you in.  Like momma said, "If it's too good to be true, then it probably is."

Fear Not fellow CashCraters!  I am going to help you wade through the B.S. and successfully complete these offers.

STEP 1:

Begin filling out the offer with your personal information, being sure to use Internet safety with CashCrate offers by keeping your most sensitive information private.  Once done, click Submit.  You have now progressed to Step 2.

STEP 2:

You are immediately faced with your first obstacle, the ever dreaded "Cell Phone Scam".  Search for the "pass" or "skip" button on these pages.  If you are not careful or just inexperienced, you may hit the submit button and accidentally sign up for a phone service and begin getting cell phone charges from CashCrate offers.

Continue "passing" through these phone offers until you reach the Silver, Gold, & Platinum area.

STEP 3:

Go ahead and click on any two offers listed in the Silver section.  Let the Pop-Up pages fully load.  DO NOT FILL THEM OUT.  Leave them open for a couple of seconds. After a few moments, close them and scroll down toward the bottom of the page, continuing on by pressing the "Go To the Gold Offers" button.

STEP 4:

Do the SAME EXACT thing for the Gold section as you did for the Silver.  Be sure to let the Pop-Up pages fully load and stay open for a few seconds.  Close them, scroll down, press the "Go To the Platinum Offers" button.

STEP 5:

Execute the same process for the Platinum section, as you did before, on the two previous pages.  Close the Pop-Up offers and notice the website is trying to get you to go back to the Gold section because you didn't completely fill out the required offers.

Ignore this prompt, it's a diversion, and instead click on the "Click Here for Bonus Gifts" button.  Leave that page open for a few seconds and then close all windows associated with the company offer.

STEP 6 & 7:

Submit your offer on CashCrate's main offer page and Clear Internet Cookies to help your pending offer approve more quickly.

Many people who have tried CashCrate have had negative experiences.  They complain about being scammed and let down, and that CashCrate is a total waste of time.  CashCrate isn't perfect, but its by no means a rip off.

The world is full of bad people trying to get over on whoever is weak and vulnerable.
Users must educate themselves about the potential risks of trying to earn money online.

Be smart and don't let yourself be scammed by online companies.  It's not CashCrates fault you didn't use common sense. Use caution and don't set yourself up as a target for fraud.

I have earned money with CashCrate, and it was fun, but it wasn't an easy road.  When faced with a new experience all you can do is try and keep on trying.  Sometimes, it is necessary to fail in order to learn from your mistakes.  Don't give up after two weeks of frustration.  The information you need to be successful is out there.  CashCrate's forum is an excellent resource to use.

Hope this article will help some of you.  I didn't have a referrer helping me with problems.  I had to figure it out all on my own.  Please contact me directly with any CashCrate related questions or concerns you may have.  I am available for personal help.

Good Luck

Successfully Complete an Offer - Car Insurance Tutorial

Successfully completing a CashCrate offer can be a little trickier than expected. In this tutorial, I'm going to ask you to take my hand and let me lead you step-by-step through a CashCrate Car Insurance offer from start to finish.

Step by Step CashCrate Offer TutorialOffers are not all the same.  They vary in length, requirement, participation, ease, and payout.  Personally, I only do certain types of offers, because I have had success with those, and have completely bombed with others.  The Car Insurance offers are very reliable.  Payout is usually certain and prompt.  So, Lets Get Started.

STEP 1:  Go to CashCrate Dashboard Offers Tab

Click for Bigger Image

See how the "OFFERS" tab is selected in Green.  Also note the 100% free sort by Newest.  These can be changed to give you a different selection of offers.  I would suggest sticking with 100% Free offers for safety reasons.  Offers that aren't free will require information like credit cards and SSN's.

STEP 2:  Find a Car Insurance Offer

CashCrate Car Insurance Offer Tutorial

CashCrate offers MANY Car Insurance offers and I would do all of them if I were you.  They have high payouts, sometimes up to a dollar or more, and they don't require you to enrol or sign up for something in order to receive credit.  They may, however, give you a call and ask you some questions.  This isn't a big deal, just play along for a minute or two and abruptly say "Thanks, Got all the Info I need!" and hang up.

You will want to click the picture on the left side to start the offer.  A pop up window will appear and that window is where you will begin imputing your information.

STEP 3:  Fill in Your Valid Information

This particular offer asks for your Zip Code first.  Enter it in, but before you hit Submit, make sure you are on the actual "Quote Guppy" page.  This is important because you want the .50 CashCrate credit for completing the Quote Guppy offer.

You would think that if you clicked on the Quote Guppy Insurance picture that the pop up window would be for Quote Guppy, right?  Not always the case.  Many, and most offers try to confuse you with pop up windows and by sometimes redirecting you to a completely different site.  If you are not careful you may be lead down a rabbit hole of forms to fill out that don't even belong to the offer you initially clicked on.

Here is how to tell if you are on the correct page:

Look at the top left corner of your Internet window and look for "Quote Guppy."  Use this step when completing all offers.  Always look and see if the offer form you are filling out matches the actual CashCrate offer.  If ever you look up and see that you are filling out your information on a page that does not match the name of the offer, stop.

In this case, Quote Guppy matches, so press Submit.

Ok, something interesting happened.  When I clicked on Submit, the page that I was on turned into something else, and another pop up window from Quote Guppy showed up.

Here is what my page turned into:

If you see on the Top it says "Advertisement, You will Not Receive any Rewards for These Offers."  It seams pretty obvious that this isn't part of the offer requirement, but it may still distract a CashCrate beginner from completing the offer correctly.  This is a lesson to be learned.  Many offers will make you go through different pages that have nothing to do with the actual offer, in order to prevent you from getting your money.

Find the other pop up window that appeared when you clicked Submit. Fill out the form with Valid Information and click enter.

When asked if you are interested in any other offers, click NO for all of them until you reach a "Completion Page." It will say a confirmation letter has been sent, and you should be expecting a call from an insurance agent shortly.

STEP 4:  Clicking on Email Confirmation

It may take a few minutes, but you will find a confirmation email letter from your Car Insurance Offer.  If you don't see it in your inbox, it may be in your Spam folder.  Follow the directions to confirm the email.  You may need to talk to a Representative over the phone when they call you. Just BS with them for a minute and they will be satisfied.

STEP 5:  Press Submit on the CashCrate Offer Page

All effort will be lost if you forget to click on the Submit button on the opposite side of the offer picture.  The button is grey with white letters.  The offer will then be moved to your pending list.  There it will sit until approval.

If you want to see your Pending Offer Approval list, look at the top right hand corner of the CashCrate dashboard.  You will see a green tab with your total earnings right next to your name.  Click on that dollar amount and you will be brought to your earnings page.  Offers that have approved are in grey.  Pending offers are in green.

An offer will stay pending for 30 days and if not approved it will be deleted from your earnings page.  This will give you a chance to do it again if need be.

STEP 6:  Delete Internet Cookies

Deleting Internet cookies helps offers approve quicker.  To find out why read the article Clearing Internet Cookies for CashCrate Offer Approval

This concludes my CashCrate Car Insurance Tutorial.

Getting Cell Phone Charges from CashCrate Offers

Many CashCrate newbies receive unexpected charges on their cell phone bills after completing offers.  I was a CashCrate beginner once myself, and I too ran into this same problem.  This problem is easy to avoid if you know what to do.

Unwanted Cell Phone ChargesHow Does This Happen?

Many offers ask you for your cell phone number as part of the registration process.  Once you fill in your contact info (Name, Address, DOB, ect.) you usually click a terms and conditions box and press submit.  You will sometimes be redirected to a page that looks like this:

Excuse the quality of the screen snip, but you will definitely recognize it when it pops up.  The offer is trying to lead you down a rabbit hole with distracting "special offers" and "bonus prizes."  If you don't pay attention to what you are clicking on, you may accidentally sign up for a monthly ring tone service or cell phone trivia game.

The Bold Red Lettering is there to distract you from the small print.  It is leading you to believe that you MUST enter your cell phone number in order to receive confirmation and continue to the next page.  However, this is NOT the case.  If you click the "Submit and Continue to Next Page" button you have just signed yourself up for the cell phone charges.

If you actually read the fine print at the bottom of the page you will see the terms and conditions that clearly display the charges.  This fine print, however, is usually under the cut and you must scroll down the page to see it.  Even further below the fine print is the "Skip" button.

How To Avoid the Cell Phone Charges?

The best way to avoid accidental charges is to ALWAYS skip them.  These pages will give you a button or link to click to bypass the cell phone scam, the trick is spotting them.  Sometimes they are all the way down at the bottom of the page, and you must scroll down to see them.  Other times they are cleverly hidden in the small print, written in the same font and color, and you must carefully scan the entire page to find it.  They are also hidden on the top right corner of the page, and you have to scroll up to see the "Skip" button.

The skip option doesn't always say "Skip."  It may be unexpected phrases like:
  • No Thank You
  • Not Interested
  • Pass
  • Move On

Another Cell Phone Trap:

Sometimes when you visit a site and submit your cell phone number, you will receive a text from them that says something to the effect of:

"Thank you for visiting our site!  You are eligible for a $500 gift card.  To Claim your prize, call 1-800-345-4565.  To Unsubscribe reply STOP."

How to Avoid the Text Scam:
  • Whatever you do, do not call and claim your prize.  It's a trick, and it's not actually a gift card, its a voucher that can only be used at certain places, and only after you purchase the item and send in the receipt and then wait for 6 months for them to maybe repay you.  Then you will have to pay $4.99 for shipping and handling.

  • DO NOT TEXT BACK WITH STOP If you text back, then you will be charged the $9.99 fee on your cell phone bill.  I have been suckered into this scam.  I've done the research on this and talked to many cell phone providers.  They advised me to not reply STOP.  I get texts from sites every time I fill out offers with CashCrate, but I no longer reply to them.  This has worked, and I have not received any more wacky cell phone charges.
Simply ignore the crazy text messages and you will not be charged for them.

About Me - My CashCrate Story

CashCrate Picture ProofMy name is Emily, and I've been a member of CashCrate since September 2010. I have learned all the tips and tricks to earning money with CashCrate; and now I'm passing that knowledge on to you.

I am a single mother / full time student / working part time.  Like many, I was searching for a way to make some extra money during these hard economic times.

I was first introduced to my first online money making opportunity, Mechanical Turk, by a professor of mine in the fall of 2010.  After having some success with the Turk, I decided it was time to branch out and test out other sources of Internet income.

I wasn't referred to CashCrate by anyone.  I did an internet search and stumbled upon it.  I researched the site on Google and read many positive reviews.  I also saw proof of payment from CashCrate. Sign up was free and I thought, What the hell, go for it.

I have had success with CashCrate, not much mind you, but I got paid.  At first I found CashCrate almost impossible.  I started out completing many offers only to have them stay on the pending list until they were eventually deleted.  I spent alot of time and received no earnings.

I didn't give up though.  CashCrate is not an enigma, but it does have its twists and secretes to success.  I still have a long way to go before can call myself a "master" CashCrate earner.

Here's how I look at it.  It was FREE to sign up and the money was FREE when I got it.  $22.00 is still $22.00 I didn't have in my pocket before.  Every little bit counts.

The Secret to Completing "Quiz Jungle" Offers

Quiz Jungle offers through CashCrate are some of the most confusing and difficult offers to successfully complete.  Nine out of Ten times, my Quiz Jungle offer ends up on the pending list until it is deleted.  While I am never one to give up on something easily, Quiz Jungle offers had me wanting to quit CashCrate all together.

CashCrate Quiz Jungle OffersI have read on the CashCrate forum that many members loved the ease of Quiz Jungle and that the bulk of their earnings came from completing those offers.  I was shocked to say the least due to the fact that I had come to almost despise Quiz Jungle for their lack of approval.

Something wasn't adding up.  After digging through the CashCrate forum, I have finally found the secret to successfully completing Quiz Jungle offers.  Now I'm passing the secret on to you!

STEP 1:

First of all, I found out that Quiz Jungle the company has a cap on how many people can complete a quiz.  This means that if they only allow 50 people to complete a quiz, then only 50 people will be credited and paid.  Person 51 is SOL.  Anyone completing the quiz after the cap has been reached will not be paid.  End of story.

Quiz Jungle's 24 hour clock begins at midnight.  This means that a quiz's cap starts over and begins back with zero in the middle of the night.  So, to ensure that you are first in line and within a quiz's cap, Quiz Jungle Quizzes should be done sometime after midnight between the times of 12-6 in the morning.

I realized that I wasn't getting credited for my quizzes with CashCrate because I was filling them out in the evening before I went to sleep.  By 8 or 9 o'clock in the evening, all those quizzes had reached their cap and I had totally waisted my time.

The Secret to Quiz Jungle Offers with CashCrate is this:  Do them after midnight!

STEP 2:

You must use a different E-mail address with EACH AND EVERY quiz.  I realize that setting up a new E-mail address for every Quiz Jungle offer is a pain, but it's a necessary step for offer completion and credit.  G-mail Use with CashCrate will most definitely cut down on the extra hassle of creating a billion new E-mail addresses.

Good news is, if you are a member of CashCrate, you will want to rotate your E-mail addresses every few months anyway.  I use an Excel spread sheet to help me keep track of my E-mail addresses and what offers I used them on.  You can use the same E-mail address you used on a Quiz Jungle offer with any other CashCrate offer, just not on another Quiz Jungle offer.  Get it?

STEP 3:

Skip all sponsored offers, especially the ones that only asking for your cell phone only, never submit those, always skip.  You will want to avoid accidentally getting cell phone charges from CashCrate offers from these sponsored adds.  Let these sponsored offer pages completely load, and wait 30 seconds before you skip them.  If you skip through them too quickly, they will know that you were never interested, and not credit you.

Once you have "Skipped" over the cell phone offers, you will now come to the "Yes" or "No" offers.  Say No to all but 2.  Click "Submit."  Next, you will be directed to the offers you clicked "Yes" to.  Let those pages fully load, stay on the page for 30 seconds, and "Skip" them.  Repeat these same steps for as long as it takes to reach the "Completed" or "Final Steps" page.

STEP 4:

Now that you have reached the "Completed" or "Final Steps" page, click on 2 optional offers, let the pop-up pages completely load, keep them open for 30 seconds, then close them.  Keep the "Final Steps" page open for a full 3-5 minutes, then close.

STEP 5:

Submit the offer on CashCrate, and Clear Internet Cookies.

If you are still having problems with Quiz Jungle Offers or have any other CashCrate related questions or concerns I am available for Personal CashCrate offer Help.  You can contact me directly through E-mail, and I will be more than happy to give you the one-on-one help you need.

CashCrate Caution - Internet Safety

In order to earn money with CashCrate, certain personal information must be shared in order to receive credit for the offers.  Name, Date, and Address are OK to share, but more sensitive information MUST be kept secret.

CashCrate Caution Internet Safety
Information such as your cell phone, social security number, and credit card numbers should only and I mean ONLY be given out to 100% safe companies.

Identity theft is and has always been a concern.  There are bad people out there in the world that have no problem ripping off others and taking their money.  In order to prevent a possible scam, I would recommend the following when filling out offers with CashCrate:

Never give you SSN:  Some offers, especially the credit check ones, need your SSN in order to check your credit history.  Then once your credit has been checked by the company, you will receive your $4.00 from CashCrate.

Sounds like an easy $4.00 right?  $4.00 is not worth possible identity theft!  Your SSN is your life my friends, it must be kept secret and not tossed around, especially on the Internet!

Never give out your credit card info:  Once a company has your debit or credit card info, God only knows what they can do with it.  Hackers can gain access to this information and use it at their disposal.  This is why I suggest only doing the 100% free offers with CashCrate.  There is no chance of losing money, only gaining it!  ; P

Use Caution when giving your Cell Phone Number:  When I first started using CashCrate, I gave my cell phone number out to some companies that were shady.  I was new, and didn't have anyone to warn me about any possible consequences.  I started getting these text that said things like, "thank you for joining our quiz game, blablabla..." Big mistake.  I  started getting cell phone charges from CashCrate offers that ended up costing me $19.00 worth of extra charges on my cell phone bill.  I couldn't dispute or take them off because I couldn't find the company that originated the text.

Be careful people, don't let yourself be scammed.  It's not CashCrates fault, only your own.  Keep your most personal information safe.

Clearing Internet Cookies for CashCrate Offer Approval

Clear Internet Cookies with CashCrateA cookie is a piece of text that a Web server can store on a user's hard disk. Cookies allow a Web site to store information on a user's machine and later retrieve it.

What does an Internet cookie have to do with CashCrate?

When you visit these marketing companies web pages through offers on CashCrate, they place a cookie in your computer.  That cookie is used to store information like whether or not you have visited that site before or not.

This can be a problem when you are filling out offers with CrateCrate because many of the same companies offer dozens of offers which are hosted on the same server. If you complete one survey and begin another on the same server without clearing your Internet cookies, sometimes they will get lumped together and you’ll only receive payment for one of the two.

Clear Internet Cookies between every offer completed with CashCrate.  This will lower the chances of your offers ending up on the pending list of doom!

How to Clear Internet Cookies:
  1. Click on My Computer
  2. Click on Control Panel
  3. Click on Internet Options
  4. Click Delete under Browsing History
  5. Make sure the Internet Cookies box is checked
  6. Hit Delete
If you want to, you can download a computer cleaner program to do it for you, but it will cost you bout $30.00 bucks.  Not worth it if you ask me.

100% Free Offers with CashCrate - Spot the Easy Ones

CashCrate Hints and TipsCashCrate offers a few ways to earn money.  The safest and easiest way is by completing 100% free cash offers.

When you sign up with CashCrate, you will have tons of 100% free cash offers available to you.  Not all of the 100% free cash offers are the same.  They vary in payout, newness, difficulty, length, and requirement.

Many new members find themselves with a page full of pending offers that will never confirm because they have not done them correctly.  Personally I ran into this same problem and ended up wasting a lot of time and energy.

I'm going to tell you the hints and tips to completing 100% free cash offers successfully.

Remember, I've said it once, and I'll say it again.  Time is money!  There are some offers that ask you to "Complete a survey, fill out two offers, do this, do that, blahblahblah"

Don't do those offers please.  They will be a waste of time and you will probably fill them out incorrectly and not get paid.  Been there, Done that!

The offers that are the easiest to complete with guaranteed payout are the only offers you want to attempt at first.  These specific type of offers are easy to spot.  Look for the following clues:
  • Survey Companies or Research Companies - these will be approved as soon as you confirm your email address.
  • College Recruitment - these are simple and pay out fast. They may call your house; just tell them to take you off of their list.
  • Car Insurance Quotes - high payouts, and easy to complete.
  • Dating Sites - Take a bit longer to fill out, but always confirm.
  • Prescription Drug Offers or Medical related Offers- high payouts, easy to complete, always confirm.
  • Join a Club - club offers are easy to complete and payout when you click on the confirmation email.  Club memberships must be canceled within a given number of days in order to avoid a bill.
  • Samples - any offer that wants to give you a free sample of a product will always pay out.
  • Any other offer that says "Register with Valid Information and Confirm Email Address."
  • Coupons - offers that ask you to give your information and then print out a coupon.
Offers that have the above elements are the easiest to complete and most always pay out.

NOTE:

These type of offers generally send out confirmation emails for approval.  It is essential to confirm those emails to get paid for your efforts.

Always use Valid information when filling out offers.

G-mail Use with CashCrate

Gmail Use with CashCrateIn order to make money with CashCrate, you must give companies your email address.  These marketing companies are ONLY paying for unique email addresses.  One marketing company will run several different offers with different names.

If you have done an offer with company "ABC" already, and you click on a different offer through the same "ABC" company and give them the same email address as the first offer, you will not get paid for the second offer.  Why is that exactly you ask?  Because the "ABC" marketing company ALREADY got your email address from the first offer you completed.

How to avoid this?    Use different email addresses.

These companies will flood your inbox with junk mail as well as confirmation letters.  Using different email addresses will keep your primary email address safe and free of spam.  I would suggest signing up with a free Gmail account.  Here's why...

Gmail will allow you to manipulate your email address but still receive mail.

Let me explain with an example:

The email address ilovemoney@gmail.com can be used with an offer.

Then it can be manipulated like this...
i.love.money@gmail.com

Adding periods between the letters of the email address will register as a completely different unique address with a company, but will still go back to the same account.

i.l.o.v.e.m.o.n.e.y@gmail.com can be used as well!

Any variation of an orignal Gmail account will be viewed as a totally different email address by the paying company.  This cool feature can take 4 Gmail accounts and turn them into 400!
